2024 National Youth Day Celebrations

Today, The Livingstone Victoria Falls Volunteers joined the government of Zambia and other youth organisations in commemorating the National Youth Day which falls on 12 March of every year. This day highlights the importance of the youth to the country who make up 65% of the population. The youth converged at Mukuni park and participated in a March past to David Livingstone Secondary School. The Mayor of Livingstone Her Worship, Ms Constance Muleabai visited the LVVP station in the line up  for a photoshoot.

The participation of the LVVP volunteers from Germany in the event cemented the importance of intercultural learning and exchange amongst young people
