Mid-term Seminar with Volunteers from Germany

The Livingstone Victoria Falls Volunteers participated in a mid term seminar that was held at the Livingstone Backpackers Lodge in Livingstone. The seminar was attended by more than 15 Germany volunteers placed at various partner organisations in Zambia and Botswana. The four volunteers working under the LVVP also took part in the seminar that focused on reviewing the volunteer programme from September 2023 to February 2024. Intercultural differences, culture shock, adaptation to the local cultures and ways of doing things, communication and feedback  comprised the main content of the discussions. By and large, the seminar was a success and the LVVP looks forward to the next group of volunteers that will be arriving in the country in the coming months.

The volunteers concluded the seminar with a refreshing cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
